WhatsApp Integrations for Indian Businesses: What Connects Today

This is the honest list. Eleven connections are built into InboxWA, a REST API and webhooks cover everything else, and some CRMs are done as scoped projects. Each page says what the integration does and where it stops.

Which integrations are built in?

Stores and payments

  • Shopify: abandoned cart recovery, COD confirmation, order and shipping updates, and product catalog sync.
  • WooCommerce: new and updated orders create contacts and start workflows.
  • Razorpay: create payment links in a flow and branch on paid, pending or failed.
  • Stripe: one-off payment links and verified payment webhooks.

CRM, support and scheduling

  • HubSpot: push contacts to HubSpot, matched by email, with a signature-verified webhook.
  • Freshdesk: create Freshdesk tickets from InboxWA and receive automation webhooks.
  • Calendly: new bookings create or update a WhatsApp contact.
  • Google Sheets: a flow step that reads, appends and updates spreadsheet rows.

Hosting and developer tools

  • WHMCS: ticket, order, invoice and service events, with SLA alerts in Microsoft Teams.
  • Webhooks: send signed events in to start flows, and push InboxWA events out.
  • Zapier and Make: 5 triggers and 5 actions through Zapier-compatible REST hooks.

What about everything else?

  • REST API. Send messages and broadcasts, manage contacts, read receipts and reply times. See the developer guide and the API reference. The API, webhooks, Zapier and Make are on the Growth and Scale plans; Starter has none of them.
  • Perfex CRM. A production connector exists and runs in live deployments, delivered through the custom integration service.
  • Other CRMs (Zoho, Salesforce, Pipedrive and similar). These are scoped as a custom project against that CRM's documented API, not a button in the product. Typically that is a one to two week addition on top of a base project.

How do you choose?

  1. If you sell online, start with Shopify or WooCommerce. Order and cart events are where WhatsApp automation pays for itself fastest.
  2. If you collect payments in chat, add Razorpay.
  3. If leads live in a CRM, use the built-in HubSpot connection, the Zapier hooks, or the API.
  4. If you run hosting on WHMCS, the WHMCS connector turns tickets and invoices into alerts and messages.
  5. If none of that fits, talk to us before assuming it is impossible: most requests are an API integration.

Which integrations does InboxWA have?

Built in: Shopify, WooCommerce, HubSpot, Zapier and Make, Razorpay, Stripe, Google Sheets, Calendly, Freshdesk and WHMCS, plus webhooks and a REST API. Perfex and other CRMs connect as scoped custom integrations.

Does InboxWA integrate with Zoho CRM?

Not as a built-in connector. Zoho can be connected through the REST API and webhooks, through Zapier, or as a scoped custom integration project.

Which plans include the API and webhooks?

Growth and Scale. Starter has no API keys and no webhooks. Growth has the core API and five webhook events; Scale has every call and all events.

What does a custom integration cost?

Custom integration projects are scoped and quoted separately, starting from ₹1,49,000. See the custom integration page for what is included.

Can I connect a CRM that is not listed?

Usually yes. Any system with a documented API or webhooks can be connected, either by your developers using the InboxWA API or by us as a custom project.
