# Delivery and read receipts

`GET /api/reporting/v1/messages/{id}/receipts`  (operationId: `messageReceipts`, group: Reporting)

Every status change of one message with the time WhatsApp reported it: sent, delivered, read. A read receipt arrives only if the customer has read receipts switched on; WhatsApp reports nothing otherwise. Receipts exist from recorded_from; messages before that keep only their latest status.

Part of the full API, which is included in the Scale plan. Any one of these scopes is enough: `inbox`, `contacts`, `inbox:read`, `contacts:read`. Chat content: messages, names and phone numbers.
